“Within six weeks on the drops my nasal passages were wide open and I've now gone almost a year without getting a sinus infection. His reputation is well deserved and if you have problems with allergies or asthma he's the man to see!” …John B.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

During your initial appointment, you will meet with our EAAC Allergist who will discuss your medical history and perform a physical exam. Thomas Willim will be discussing all aspects of your allergy-related issues from their onset to the present.

This will include:

  • Discussion of your Health/Allergy History.
  • All your current symptoms.
  • Perform a thorough exam of your ear/nose/throat as well as heart and lungs.
  • The Allergist will perform a painless allergy skin test on your arms. Wearing a sleeveless/short sleeve shirt will make this easier.
  • Fifteen minutes after the test has been applied the Allergist will personally read your results and give you a detailed explanation on what they mean.
  • The Allergist will provide a complete assessment of the problem and precisely what must be done to eliminate it.
Completing all three of the New Patient Forms prior to the visit and bringing them to your appointment is highly recommended and will reduce the length of your visit substantially.
Preparing for Your Allergy Skin Test
At Elite Allergy and Asthma Clinic we want your allergy skin testing to be as accurate as possible.

As such, we ask that you not take any allergy pills or allergy eye drops within 5 days of your appointment.
A list of these meds include Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec, Xyzal, and Benadryl. Sleep aids like Advil PM, Tylenol PM, and Nyquil contain the ingredient found in Benadryl and should be avoided as well.
Please wear a short sleeved or sleeveless shirt as we will be applying the test to your bare arms.
Still Have Questions?
Please contact our office, and we will address any additional questions that you may have.
Your question will be answered the same day it was submitted.
